Sorting and Filling in Excel

As of today, (December 12, 2008) You should be able to:

  1. Open Excel in different ways
  2. Know the difference of the SAVE and SAVE AS function in windows.
  3. Create a proper name of the folder in a specific location.
Laboratory Activity - Dec.12.08
Please refer to your GJC Handout pages 58 - 70.
  1. Practice sorting and filling 
  2. Sort in SHEET 1 in Ascending Order Odd numbers from 1 until 999 in Column A.
  3. Sort in SHEET 2 in Descending Order all even numbers from 0 until 1,000 in Column A.
  • NOTE: Save this to folder name <yr>-<section> located at desktop and the files should be enclosed in another folder named “Dec.12.08 - Activity”, with file name “Sorting&Filling”.

Guidelines
1. The activities should be finished 15 minutes before your times ends. 15 Minutes will be alloted for discussions and checking.

2. Please follow instructions carefully. Wrong location of the file/folder will not be checked and automatically receives a grade of 70.
