I’m Andrew Philip N. Moris. Currently the:

  • Project Developer @ Moris ICT - Moris ICT is a project based, Non-Profit Organization specializing in open source software development and IT consultancy. The Visions of Moris ICT are; promote nationalism, help different schools/colleges/universities in keeping themselves up-to-date in ICT and looking for funds for projects. Facilitate the development of knowledge and skills of ICT students by giving them real life exercises and form a strong student organization, Moris ICT Student Society.
  • Tech Evangelist @ Global Network of Technology Evangelist (GNoTE), International. As a Tech Evangelist I take active part in various blogs, chats, seminar, groups and conferences in promoting technology. GNoTE was established in November 2006 in order to provide the community with all the necessary information concerning new technologies.
  • Volunteer @ PHP Users Group, As a volunteer, I help the Team in promoting the Team’s Vision and Mission. PHPUGP Visions are to promote and support the development and use of PHP as well as FOSS for web-based and related applications. And its mission is to advocate and disseminate the use of PHP (Hypertext Pre-processor) as well as Open Source technologies in schools and companies in the Philippines. To provide help and support for the Filipino PHP developer. To instill camaraderie and sense of responsibility among its members and to push PHP in the enterprise as the primary scripting language.
  • Tarlac Community Executive Head @ iamninoy Movement, As the Head, I am responsible in promoting projects within my core groups and also the advocacy of iamninoy, currently we just inaugurated our iamninoy chapter here in Tarlac last March 13, 2009.
  • Organizer/Volunteer @ Student for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE), As a part of the organizers, I am responsible in promoting SAGE.
  • Tarlac Chapter Head @ YouthVotePhilippines, As the Head, I am responsible in promoting the YouthVotePhilippines itself here in Tarlac City.

I have five years of experience in project development and execution in the field of academe, industry and government in the areas of Business and Information Technology. I was also the:

  • Executive Vice President @ RCN Foundation Inc., I am in-charge with the project proposal, development and execution of the organization which focuses in the creation of jobs for the Filipino people. The purposes of the organization are to be a partner of the Philippine Government in the nation building and economic development, by contributing its resources for the betterment of the country in general, of every Filipino in particular. And to promote and uplift the standard of living of every unfortunate Filipino by providing them livelihood projects, descent and affordable housing, health services, quality education and other related endeavors.
  • IT Lecturer and Officer In Charge of the IT Department @ Gerona Junior College Giving lectures to the High School Department 3rd year and 4th year students. Lectures are being delivered with the use of technology and new ways of teaching. I am also in-charge in the Leadership Training Program for the whole High School Department from 1st year to 4th Year.
  • IT Lecturer and Officer-In-Charge of the Computer Science College Department @ St. Mutien College, Head of the IT Department and giving lectures to IT/CS college students with the subjects namely; Data Structure and Algorithms, Software Engineering, System Analysis and Design, Project Research, Access Programming and Automata.
  • Client Coordinator @ Atty. Junal S. Dionaldo Law Office, I am responsible in handling and coordinating with the different client that is related with the Law office. This includes preparation of proposition paper and gathering facts/evidences. To assist also in preparations of Powerpoint materials for client presentation and provides substantive and logistical support for related functions, including proposals, research and events.
  • IT Lecturer @ ACEcom Systems Inc., And giving lectures to 15 Classes at Gerona Junior College High School Department, 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year students for the S.Y. 2008-2009. Lectures are being delivered with the use of technology and new ways of teaching.
  • IT Manager and IT Business Developer @ ACEcom Systems, Inc., I am responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversee all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. Leads and directs the work of others.
  • Academe Project Coordinator, Marketing Assistant & Press and Media Coordinator @ University of the Philippines Diliman IT Training Center specializing in flash fiction (really short short stories)
  • Cable Tech Support, Verizon Business Account @ Sykes Asia Inc. I was responsible in ensuring the data that will be input in the system is correct and accurate. I was also responsible in reporting with our Team Leader with the updates throughout the daily transactions.
  • And for a short time, I was also part and contributed to World Partner as the Software Quality Assurance Personnel and at Cosmopoint International Institute of Technology as the Officer-In-Charge of Business Development Team.
